Dr. Kyle Santelio is a Southern California native, born and raised in Cerritos. He began his career early on working as a veterinary assistant in high school. Dr. Santelio earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Zoology at Cal State Long Beach, then went on to graduate from Western University of Health and Sciences in 2019. After graduating, he completed a 1 year rotating internship at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital. He originally came to Bay in the summer of 2020, and left in 2021 to pursue emergency medicine for a few years. We are so excited to have him back on our team! Dr. Santelio enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time outdoors with his husband, their two children and two English Bulldogs – Bonnie and Bruce!
