Tania

Practice Manager
Tania joined the Bay Animal Hospital team in June 2015. Born and raised in the Midwest, she grew up with a great love and compassion for animals. After attending the University of Arizona and studying Animal Sciences, Tania enjoyed working on the management side in veterinary medicine. With over 26 years in the veterinary field and 21 years of experience in management, Tania was excited to work at Bay Animal Hospital. Tania loves the sunny California weather, spending time at the beach and sailing. She has an adorable long-haired chihuahua named Teddy who comes to work with her daily and loves greeting all the patients who visit Bay Animal Hospital.

Shanise

Purchasing Manager
Shanise has been working for BAH since October 2006 and has been a veterinary technician since 1990. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and Management from UC Davis. Her past work experience includes protecting animal actors on movie sets for the “no animals were harmed” credit and working as an animal control officer. She truly loves animals! Her family consists of a loving husband, one daughter, and three sons. They have two dogs, Princess Leia and Lando, and a cat named Whiskers. Shanise works hard to ensure that the hospital has the medications, supplies, and prescription diets needed to provide excellent care for our patients.

Doreya

Treatment Technician

Doreya has been with Bay since July 2000. She is responsible for outpatient and in-hospital treatments for all our patients. She also volunteers a lot of her time to rescuing lost or abandoned animals and finding them good homes.

Rocio, RVT

Dental/Surgery/Treatment Technician
Rocio joined the Bay team in September 2014. Her favorite thing about working at Bay is the happy environment and the positive attitude between employees and Doctors. She attended Carrington College and received her A.A. in Animal Science. Rocio has lots of rescue pets that keep her very busy when she’s not here taking great care of our patients. She has 3 cats named Antonio, Alberto, and Pedro as well as 5 dogs named Chase, Betty White, Mya, Joey, Miguel, and Phoebe. Before Rocio joined the Bay team she was working at Cottage Pet Animal Hospital and served in the military for 6 years. Her interests outside of Bay are to scrapbook and watch movies with her husband and kids.

Juan F.

Treatment Technician
Juan has been working at Bay since March 2013. Before joining Bay, he worked at The Cat Doctor Hospital. His favorite thing about working at Bay is his coworkers. Juan has 2 guinea pigs named Monkey and Mickey and enjoys playing paintball when he’s not busy helping our patients.

Memo

Treatment Technician
Memo joined the Bay team in December 2009. He started out in the kennel department and quickly became interested in expanding his great patient-care skills in the technician department. When Memo isn’t busy taking care of our many furry patients, he enjoys music and going out with his friends.

Angela, RVT

Surgery/Treatment Technician
Angie joined the Bay team in May 2019. She moved back to the South Bay from Northern California and brings years of experience in the veterinary field with her. Angie primarily assists in surgery and loves getting to know our many adorable patients when working on the floor. In her spare time, Angie likes going to concerts, the gym, and hiking.

Daniel

Treatment Technician
Daniel began working at Bay in September 2019. He comes to us with years of experience working with animals at other hospitals in the South Bay. Daniel also worked alongside some of our staff at those hospitals and is excited to be working with them again. In his free time, Daniel enjoys Perler bead art, going to festivals, and spending time with his cats, Beerus and Haku.

John, RVT

Dental/Surgery/Treatment Technician
John has been with Bay Animal Hospital since January 2016. He attended Colorado State University and completed the RVT program. He has worked in both animal hospitals and shelters and is currently working towards his Veterinary Technician Specialty in dentistry. John enjoys hiking, surfing, drawing, and writing. He has two dogs: Coyolxauhqi, a Jack Russell, and Pryna, a Pungsan.

Julie, RVT

Dental/Treatment Technician
Julie began working at Bay in August 2018 as a kennel attendant and quickly transitioned to our technician team. With her background and degree in Zoology, Julie continued to learn and study, and as of December 2020, completed the RVT program. In her free time, Julie loves spending time with her border collie, Bruin, as well as hiking and camping.

Eduardo

Treatment Technician/Kennel Supervisor
Eduardo started at Bay Animal Hospital in July 2015. He loves taking care of all of our patients and our resident cats. In his spare time, Eduardo enjoys spending time with his friends and family. He has a little chihuahua named Muneca and a Bully named Legend.

Zennia, RVT

Treatment Technician

Zennia joined the Bay team in May 2021. Her years of animal experience, including helping out strays at Stray Cat Alliance and SNPLA, have made her a wonderful addition to our team. When Zennia is not helping animals, she enjoys camping, hiking, and picnicking. She also loves spending time with her dog Pita and her cat Flash.

Ethan

Treatment Technician

Ethan has been with Bay since July 2020. He attended Canisius College in Buffalo New York where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Behavior and Environmental Studies. Ethan comes to us with years of animal experience and loves being able to help our patients each day. Ethan enjoys hiking, spending time with friends, and his 3 pets – a dog named Cali, and 2 cats named Sami and Leo.

Jessica

Doctor’s Assistant Supervisor

Jessica has been with Bay Animal Hospital since August 2019. She comes with years of experience and a huge love of animals. She enjoys working at a hospital where the patients always come first. Her favorite things to do when not helping our many patients is riding bikes and hanging out with her two cats, Roman and Blackberry.

Sandra

Doctor’s Assistant
Sandra began working at Bay Animal Hospital in November 2017. Before coming to the South Bay, Sandra worked at Culver Palms Animal Hospital in Culver City. She enjoys playing soccer and spending time with her son. They have 2 dogs, Rocky and Princess, and 5 cats, Zena, Caramel, Apple, Beetlejuice, and Black Panther.

Kelli

Doctor’s Assistant
Kelli joined the Bay team in May 2017 with years of experience as a doctor’s assistant at Animal Emergency Medical Center in Torrance. Kelli’s favorite place to spend time at is the beach. Her other hobbies include camping, dirtbike riding, rollerskating, and hiking. She also loves spending time with her two dogs Roxi and Sonny, and her cat Boo Radley.

Dani

Doctor’s Assistant

Dani joined the Bay team during the fall of 2022. She came to the South Bay by way of Ohio where she gained veterinary experience charting for a busy emergency hospital. When Dani is not helping our patients and doctors, she can be found hiking, biking and painting. She is excited to be here and experience Southern California’s mild winters and we are so happy to have her on the team.

Aaliyah

Doctor’s Assistant

Aaliyah came to Bay in September 2021. She moved to the area from Nevada and is excited to get to know the team as well as all of our wonderful patients and clients. In her spare time, Aaliyah enjoys watching documentaries and relaxing with her maltipoo, Luna.

Ana Sofia

Doctor’s Assistant

Ana Sofia has been in the veterinary field since 2016. She has experience as a receptionist, doctors assistant and technician assistant. She joined the Bay team in January of 2024, and aspires to be a doctor herself one day. On her days off, Ana Sofia enjoys reading, watching movies, spending time with family, or snuggling with her two kitties, Autumn & Dottie!

Molly

Doctor’s Assistant

Molly joined our team in June 2023. She graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor’s of Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences, and comes to us with years of experience in the veterinary field. She loves the welcoming atmosphere at Bay Animal Hospital and enjoys helping all our clients and patients. Molly loves to travel and visit new places. In her free time, you can find her cooking, relaxing at the beach, or hanging out with her Yellow Lab, Tucker!

Kim

Client Care Specialist Supervisor
Kim joined the Bay team in August 2016 as a Client Care Specialist and quickly transitioned to our Doctor’s Assistant position where she worked for many years. She went part time in 2020 to work as a surgical technician in human medicine, but returned to us in July of 2024 as our Client Care Specialist and Pharmacy Supervisor – we’re thrilled to have her back full time! In her spare time, Kim enjoys reading, swimming, and listening to music. She also has and 2 adorable cats – Ribs, and Monster.

Alma

Client Care Specialist
Alma has been with Bay Animal Hospital since August 2015 and has extensive experience in the medical field. She worked as a Dental Assistant for 5 years and has been in the Veterinary Field for 10 years. Alma enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She also has three furry family members – two Chihuahua’s named Chiquis and Idaho, and a kitty named Whiskey Bob! Alma enjoys working at Bay Animal Hospital with the friendly, hardworking staff.

Coreena

Client Care Specialist
Coreena has been with Bay since October 2015. Coreena worked for California Science Center and studied Marine Biology. She has worked with wildlife and aquatic animals for 5 years. She enjoys spending time with her daughter, Sirena, and being by the ocean. Coreena is a synchronized swimmer and has been enjoying the sport since she was 7 years old! She also has 3 cats; Salem, Mimi and Bobby G. Coreena enjoys working with her coworkers at Bay Animal Hospital because everyone is compassionate and caring and loves working with animals.

Yamira

Client Care Specialist
Yamira started with Bay in December 2015. She has worked in personal home care and child care. Yamira enjoys playing volleyball and expressing herself in cosmetology. She has two turtles named Myrtle and Speedy. Yamira enjoys working at Bay Animal Hospital learning new things and working with animals. She is looking forward to expanding her career and become a veterinary technician in the future.

Kelsie

Client Care Specialist

Kelsie came to Bay in August 2021. She is very excited to have the opportunity to help all of our clients and patients get the best care. Before coming to Bay, Kelsie helped the rescue animals at the Chattahoochee Humane Society. In her free time, Kelsie enjoys going on road trips, spending time at the beach, and hanging out with her own pets – a cat named Scoot, and her 3 dogs – Conway, Jinger, and Rodeo.

Isa

Client Care Specialist

Isa joined Bay in 2022 and has been in the veterinary field for several years and also worked in a dental office. She enjoys reading a good mystery and drawing. Isa loves the energy at Bay and is always eager to learn and grow more. She has a cat named Tom.

Alina

Pharmacy Technician

Alina joined Bay Animal Hospital in June 2023 and we’re very excited to have her on our team! She recently moved to California from Illinois and has years of experience as a licensed pharmacy technician. When Alina is not working, she enjoys drawing, reading and exploring new hiking trails with her big yellow lab named Dexter.

Hope

Pharmacy Technician

Hope joined our Bay Animal Hospital team in May of 2024 and comes to us with years of experience as a licensed pharmacy technician. She has worked in both human and pet pharmacies and loves being part of a team that helps fur babies! While not at work, you can find Hope spending time with her numerous animals (a kitty, 4 chickens, a lizard, fish and tarantula!) She also enjoys long sword fighting and video games!

Ben

Kennel Attendant

Ben has been with Bay Animal Hospital since December 2006. He loves helping our patients every day and works hard to keep our hospital clean and sanitary for us all. When Ben isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with family, hiking, and going to the beach.

Alexis

Kennel Attendant

Alexis found her passion for working with animals while employed at Down Dog Lodge. She joined our team in 2024 and enjoys interacting with our patients and clients any chance she gets! Alexis has two Pitties of her own, Kush & Brandy, and loves spending time with them when she’s not busy working.

Emily

Kennel Attendant

Emily has years of experience in both animal hospitals and boarding facilities. She attended Veterinary Assistant school and joined our Kennel team in August of 2024! In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, going to the beach, trying new foods and watching documentaries or horror movies!
