Dr. Jen Bailey was born and raised in Mililani, Hawaii. She attended Colorado State University where she earned her BS in Microbiology and her DVM in 2001. She then completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital. Dr. Bailey first came to Bay Animal Hospital in June 2002. After spending two years in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, she returned to Bay in August 2010. She is definitely happy to be back in Southern California, and especially thrilled to be back at Bay! Dr. Bailey loves all aspects of practicing veterinary medicine, especially feline medicine (she is a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners), internal medicine and soft tissue surgery.

Dr. Bailey enjoys traveling, shopping, reading, and spending time with her family including three rescue dogs (Tobey, Krush, and Ziggy who love going to the dog beach) and four cats (Marley, Emma, Joey and Lila, who love lounging around the house).
