Dr. Susan Gilliam is a native of Los Angeles. After many years in the corporate office environment in a completely different field, she chose veterinary medicine as a second career, so that she could have a positive impact on pet companions and their guardians. With the loving support of her husband, she returned to school to obtain a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology at CSU Dominguez Hills, and then completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences. Dr. Gilliam has been at Bay since March 2015, and she enjoys traveling and spending time with loved ones outside of the hospital.
